Terms and Conditions
Before to rent a car in Costa Rica, consider these regulations:
Rates Do Not Include
- Gas.
- Insurance.
- Other expenses.
Age
- Customer must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid and updated driver's license.
CHARGES FOR GAS
- The car must be returned with the same amount of gasoline specified in the contract, otherwise, the missing amount will be charged.
PAYMENT
- Rent: credit cards, cash.
- Other charges: credit card used in the leasing contract.
DEPOSIT
- A deposit blocked from a major credit (such as American Express, Visa, Master Card, Dinners Club or ST), is required.
EXTRA HOURS
- 1 hour tolerance. For the following 3 hours, $10 each. For over 3 hours, an extra day will be charged.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Daily rate apply from 1 to 6 days rental.
- Weekly rate apply after 7 days.
- Daily rate comprise 24 hours.
- All pre-paid rentals are non-refundable.
- Free mileage applies for a minimum of 1 day rent.
- All vehicles are restricted to transit only within Costa Rica.
- A passport and a valid drivers license are required
- In case of "NO SHOW", first day of rent will be charged.
